Weather

We are located in the Tongass National Rain Forest. Ketchikan on average gets 140 inches of rain each year. While we can have many beautiful summer days, the weather can change quickly. It is recommended to expect rain and bring layers. For fishing charters we have rain gear on hand as well as sunscreen if you should need it. The two pictures below are the same day on a 4 hour (half day) charter. Sometimes it will rain and then turn into a beautiful day. Other times it will be a nice day and then rain. Other times it only rains. Layers are always a good idea so that you can stay cool or warm if needed.
